Shabuya and Broth Shabu watch out. You have a great competitor in the world of Shabu-Shabu! Our first time here and we were impressed with the quality of their meats. Each meat order there is an explanation of how lean or how fatty their meat is. Ambiance was great as it was not loud. They have very clean floors, tables and buffet tables. That make sure that all around the buffet service table are always clean. The manager Sun would go around checking on customers and even serving drinks! Their service of the meats are quick and the layout of each serving was done professionally! When I say clean it means the tables and floors are not sticky! We enjoyed all the meats they served. They have several choices of vegetables, fish balls, fish cakes, shrimp, octopus, crawfish. They have a lot of base soups to choose from. Our waiter was really good at suggesting the meats to order and they all come quick! This will be our to go place for Shabu-Shabu. Never have I rated a "5" for all you can eat Shabu-Shabu but this one is a "5". I can't even believe they have dukboki and japchae as well as pasta salad. They even have oranges, pineapple and even ice cream!

For $30 this is lowkey a bang for your buck. They offer some decent quality meat here, and its ayce so you can eat as much as you want. They also have different sides here that you can grab such as California roll and tteok bokki. I chose the pork bone broth which lacked flavors. I could barely taste anything if i dont dip the meat into the sauces. I think if they can fix this part, this place would definitely be a 5 star. Service here is also pretty fast, and no limit on how many meats you can order at once. Decent experience here and ill be back, i just hope they improve the broth.

We went here on a Saturday afternoon, and it was fairly busy. The place seems understaffed as there were only about 2-3 workers on the floor. It was about a 5 minute wait to be seated. Overall place is decently clean and the buffet (veggies, fruits, sides) was seen to be constantly replenished. The waiter was friendly and made recommendations. Food was good, will come again!

We decided to go here on a weekday for dinner, and walked into a completely empty, quiet restaurant! Not sure if there was something going on that day, but needless to say, it meant more attention toward us for sure. The meat and toppings still seemed pretty fresh though, just a few of the items were still frozen at the bar (but I guess on the bright side, that meant we could be confident that stuff would still be fresh. Our broths were all pretty standard -- nothing mindblowing -- but tasted good. Our server was really attentive, and helped us out super fast whenever we needed extra napkins or utensils. While I wouldn't put this place at the very top of my hot pot rankings, this was fairly solid and I'd come back if I needed a place in the area.

Visitation Rights: Roughly 3 times. Location/Parking: Located on the SW corner of Alta St. and 1st Ave.. Parking can be found in the share lot in the back or in the front. Ambiance/Decor: Your usually buffet type of feel with modern furnishings. Service: Service is pretty decent and the meats come out at a decent time. Price (No lunch rate during holidays or the weekend. The buffet also includes a variety of different veggies (bok choy and napa to name a few) and seafood (cuttle fish ball, fried tofu fish cake and imitation crab to name a few. Clam, mussel, shrimp, baby octopus and crawfish are only offered for dinner): 1) Lunch =$25.99 (Two years ago, this was at $21.99) You can choose from (6-9): 6. Angus Chuck Roll 7. Premium Short Plate 8. Olymel Pork Belly 9. Basa Fish 2) Dinner=$34.99 (Two years ago, this was at $32.99) You can choose from (1-9): 1) Wagyu Eye Of Round (Rate 5 on the lean scale (1-5)) 2) Prime Top Blade (Rate 4 on the lean scale (1-5)) 3) Chuck Eye Steak (Rate 3 on the lean scale (1-5)) 4) Muji Fuji Pork Collar (Rate 3 on the lean scale (1-5)) 5) Lamb Leg 6) Angus Chuck Roll (Rate 3 on the lean scale (1-5)) 7) Premium Short Plate (Rate 1 on the lean scale (1-5)) 8) Olymel Pork Belly (Rate 2 on the lean scale (1-5)) 9) Basa Fish Shabu Lin Eating Experience: Thought my eating was pretty good. I normally get the ginseng chicken broth and load up on the bok choy, spinach, and scatter some shrooms to enhance the the soup base. As for the meat, I like to load up on the leanest meat (wagyu eye of round) and not the leanest, premium short plate. If you're all about the sauce life, I like to mix some daikon and mixed garlic into the the sesame sauce! Shabu Lin For Thought: I wouldn't mind coming back if I have a ayce shabu crave.

We came here after having a weird experience at Momos Paradise :/. This spot was empty when we went but we didn't let that fool us since it had great reviews and was extremely clean. What a delicious shabu shabu spot!! Reasonably priced and service is great. You get to pick your broth and meats! The meats are ayce and there's also an ayce self service bar with a bunch of goodies.

Pretty good hot pot place and it's away from the hustle and bustle of the Westfield Arcadia Mall. We went for lunch on a Friday so the lunch prices were reasonable. If you've never been to a hot pot place this is how this one works. They seat you at your table and you have individual soup burners at the table. Once the waitress or waiter come to your table you pick the broth and pick your protein. I initially I thought you could only pick one protein but the waiter explained that you can order all of them on their list depending on lunch or dinner. Then head over to the buffet table of vegetables, noodles, all the items to toss in your broth. The steam rice and sauce station are also self serve. Go back for more if needed since it's AYCE. I ordered the miso broth and it was delicious. Great place!
